Hi guys, Just found this site. I left SA in 87 , have lived at Currumbin on the Goldy ever since. It’s good, but not all it’s cracked up to be. Great waves, but just SO CROWDED. Also, its so hard to get any lefts, cept if u go to d’bah, but crowded again. If I surf Superbank, Burleigh or Currumbin Alley, I’ve got maybe 20 mins. after daylight where its sort of uncrowded, then take your turn or head in while your still in a good mood. Kirra is uncrowded these days cos its a closeout cept when its over 6foot then it’s fun. The best times are when its too big, as in mid Jan. u can get uncrowded superbank or kirra then. I really miss Yorkes, Streaky and Waits/ Parsons. Hi to Mark Temple, Andrew Hancock and Ralph Bock. Piggy Bowditch
